Screened Unarmored Cable

Screened unarmored cable is a special type of cable designed to protect the signal from interference while providing the necessary mechanical strength without the need for additional armor.

CONSTRUCTION

Conductor: Copper
Insulation: Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC), Cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE)
Filler: Polypropylene(PP)
Wrapping: Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC), Polyethylene(PE)
Screen: Copper Wire, Copper Tape
Sheath: Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC), Polyethylene(PE), Low Smoke Zero Halogen compound(LSZH)

APPLICATION

With good protection performance and stability, screened unarmored cable can ensure the transmission of signals in high temperature, which plays an important role in many fields such as industrial automation, power, communication and so on.

CHARACTERISTCS

PVC insulation:

Cable conductor: Max long-term temp 70℃, max short-circuit temp 160℃ (≤5s).
Cable laying: Ambient temp ≥0°C; below 0°C, heat cable.
Cable bending radius: Unarmored cables/flexible cables with screen≥6×OD, armored cables/copper tape screen cables ≥12×OD

XLPE insulation:

Cable conductor: max long-term temp 90℃, max short-circuit temp 250℃ (≤5s).
Cable laying: ambient temp ≥0°C; heat if <0°C.
Cable bending radius: Unarmored cables/flexible cables with screen≥8×OD, armored cables/copper tape screen cables ≥12×OD
