Product Description

The underwater fiber optic cable employs a steel wire armored structure. Single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers are housed within loose tubes made of high-modulus polyester material. The tubes are filled with a water-blocking compound. At the core’s center is a central strength member. The loose tubes (and possible filler rods) are stranded around this central member to form a compact, circular cable core. Any interstitial spaces within the core are filled with water-blocking filling compound. Steel wire armoring is applied over the inner sheath, and the cable is completed by extruding an outer polyethylene (PE) sheath.

Product Advantages

The loose tube material offers excellent hydrolysis resistance and high strength. Filled with a special flooding compound, it provides critical protection for the fibers.
Multiple stranded steel wires impart extremely high tensile and crush resistance to the cable, enabling it to withstand harsh conditions and ensure reliable optical signal transmission.
Effectively resists rodent bites and provides good ballistic protection.
Meets application requirements for direct burial on slopes, underwater installation, and similar demanding environments.
