Flexible Tube Cable

Flexible Tube Cable is made of special tube materials and has excellent bending performance, which is conducive to installation. It is stored in the junction box to reduce the time for fiber optic splicing and installation.

Product Description

Flexible Tube cables are made by inserting single-mode optical fibers into loose tubes made of high-modulus polyester material (TPEE), with waterproof compounds filled inside the tubes. Non-metallic strength member are used at the center of the optical cable. The loose tubes (and possible filling ropes) are twisted around the central strength member to form a compact circular cable core.Additional strength member, steel tape and possibly multiple layers of sheathing can be added outside the cable core. Finally, a layer of outer polyethylene sheath is extruded to form the cable.

S-Z stranded (up to 312 fibers) or central tube structure (up to 144 fibers)
Good mechanical and environmental performance, consistent with common PBT loose tube structure.
Applicable for duct, indoor and self-supporting installation.
