Aluminum Tube OPGW

Optical fibers placed loosely in plastic tubes embedded in a hermetically sealed aluminum tube. The aluminum tube is surrounded by single or double layers of metal wires. The structure has good corrosion resistance for its uniform materials.

Characteristics:
  1. Uniform material and structure, good resistance to vibration fatigue;
  2. Short circuit current has small effect on the optical fiber transmissionperformance;
  3. The non-metallic tube is placed in the aluminum tube and is separated from the metal wires when it enters the splice box. The end of the cable is easier to handle, especially the fiber splicing;
  4. The non-metallic tube eliminates the risk of damage caused to the fibers by the edge of the metallic tube while removing it for splicing of fibers.
