Screened armored cable

ZTT MV underground power cables have excellent electrical properties, intended for use in power transmission and distribution substation systems with an industrial frequency rated voltage of 6-35kV, with special features on request like flame-retardant, water blocking, anti-termite, etc.

This type of cables are generally laid indoors, in tunnels and cable trenches and other places where certain radial mechanical external force or tension may happen.

  • Cables are offered accords with different standards, IEC 60502-2, HD, NF C, NBR, AS/NZS, IRAM, GOST.
  1. CONSTRUCTION
  • Conductor: Copper/aluminum wire, class 2 stranding
  • Conductor screen: Extruded semiconducting layer
  • Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE)
  • Insulation screen: Extruded semiconducting layer
  • Metallic screen: Optional of copper wire, copper tape
  • Inner sheath: Optional of Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC), Polyethylene(PE), Low Smoke Zero Halogen compound(LSZH)
  • Armor: Optional of aluminum wire, aluminum tape or laminated aluminum tape
  • Outer sheath: Optional of Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC), Polyethylene(PE), Low Smoke Zero Halogen compound(LSZH)
