Suspension Clamp

The suspension clamp is primarily used to fix conductors to insulator strings or hang lightning conductors on straightline towers. Moreover, it also can be used for transposition towers to support transposition conductors and for tension towers or angle poles to fix the jumper wires

  • According to the relative position between the center of gyration axle and the axis of conductor, suspension clamps can be divided into trunnion type, hang-down type and carried-up type.Based on the requirement for grip strength of suspension clamp to conductor, the suspension clamp can be divided into three types: fixed type, slip(releasing) type and limited grip strength type.

The forged suspension clamp has a smooth and dense surface, reducing corona discharge. The clamp has great anti-corrosion performance and doesn’t require galvanization treatment. The U-bolt adopts high-precision anti-loosening bolts and nuts to prevent slippage between the clamp and the conductor.
