Spacer

Spacers are installed on multiple bundle conductors to keep certain distance among each other so as to avoid impact, restrain wind vibration and sub-span oscillation.

  • Based on their structural functions, spacers can be classified into rigid spacers, damping spacers, and anti-galloping spacers.According to the number of conductor bundles, they can be divided into twin-bundle spacers, three-bundle spacers, four-bundle spacers, six-bundle spacers, eight-bundle spacers, etc.

The spacer features a fast integrated design, enabling the conductor to be locked automatically. It can enhance efficiency, reduce errors and preventing the clamp from falling off, and ensure grid stability compared to traditional spacers.

Comparison of Spacer Features
Item Conventional Spacer Maintenance-free Spacer
Installation Efficiency Relatively slow 8 times that of the conventional spacer
Operation and Maintenance Damage to the main body, clamp detachment and wear to conductors, etc. No mechanical defects, maintenance-free
