Screened Armored Cable

The low voltage cable with both shielding and armoring not only has excellent anti-electromagnetic interference capability, but can also effectively prevent mechanical damage. It is suitable for places with relatively complex and harsh environments, such as factory workshops, mines, outdoor construction sites and other places. In these places, there may be many sources of electromagnetic interference, and at the same time, the cables are also prone to mechanical damage from external force. The armoring layer can protect the cables from physical damage, while the shielding layer can resist electromagnetic interference and ensure the normal transmission of electricity or signals.

  • Cables are offered accords with different standards, IEC, AS/NZS, NF C, IRAM, SANS, BS, DIN, AIEC, etc.

  • Conductor: Copper/aluminum wire, class 2 stranding
  • Number of Cores: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 3+1, 4+1, 3+2
  • Nominal Cross Sectional Area/mm2: 10-800
  • Insulation: Optional of Cross-Linked Polyethylene(XLPE), Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC)
  • Metallic screen: Optional of copper wire, copper tape, aluminum wire‘
  • Armor: Optional of steel tape, steel wire
  • Outer Sheath: Optional of Polyvinyl Chloride(PVC), Polyethylene(PE)
  1. CHARACTERISTCS
  • Suitable for transmission and distribution system with rated voltage up to 0.6/1kV.
  • For steel tape armored cable: Laying underground. It can bear mechanical action but cannot bear the large pulling force.
  • For steel wire armored cable: Suitable for laying high drop area. It can bear mechanical force action and the large pulling force.
  • When the customer need special function cable, for example water-blocking, water proofing, lame retardant, fire resistant, anti-termites, anti-biting, laying in the river or in the sea, the construction should be further designed.
