Product Description
  • The structure involves arranging an even number of optical fibers in parallel, bonding them with adhesive material and UV-curing them into fiber ribbons. These ribbons are then inserted into loose tubes made of high-modulus polyester material, with the tubes filled with water-blocking compound. At the core center lies a metallic strength member, around which the loose tubes (and filler rods) are stranded to form a compact circular cable core. Gaps within the core are filled with water-blocking filling compound. An aluminum-plastic laminate (APL) tape is longitudinally applied before the cable is sheathed with an extruded polyethylene outer jacket.
