Product Description

ZTT Figure-8 Fiber Optic Cables integrate single-mode optical fibers within high-strength, UV-resistant buffer tubes, stranded around a dielectric central strength member. These tubes are filled with water-blocking gel to ensure moisture resistance. The cable core is encapsulated in a high-performance, dry water-blocking tape and protected by a bonded inner sheath. Crucially, an integrated high-tensile Aramid Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) or Aluminum-Clad Steel (ACS) messenger wire is co-extruded with the optical unit, forming the distinctive “8” shape. The entire structure is sheathed in weather-resistant, UV-stabilized black HDPE for aerial durability.
